TLC Consultants offers workshops for parents of all ages and stages.  The goal is to empower parents to feel better equipped to communicate with their kids and encourage healthy relationships for life. 

Workshop: REAL Freedom-

REAL Freedom is a training that provides parents with the necessary strategies and medically accurate information to talk to their teens about sex. Topics covered in the workshop include teen pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases, dating, refusal skills, and influences:

• Details of how different the world is now from when we were teenagers.
• A medically accurate overview of the consequences of teen sex including: physical, psychological, financial, and social.
• Examples of "the world's" message for sex; friends with benefits and strategies for countering such messages. 
• Tips for communicating with their kids more effectively.
• Parents learn the importance of being consistent with discipline and the benefits of house guidelines.   
• Parents hear about the benefits of communicating well with the parents of their teenager's friends.
• Parents receive practical tools to help them positively influence their teens.
• How to tailor your parenting style based on the unique needs of your teen.  To better understand your teens in greater detail schedule the Teen Temperament workshop.  For parents only or for teens and parents combined

Workshop: Consider the TRUTH!

What is the truth? What is God’s plan? Is it even possible? I desire for my teen to save sex for marriage but the world around me says there isn't a chance. What are the real consequences of sex outside of marriage? Can I really motivate my teen from a Biblical perspective? This workshop challenges parents to talk to their teens about sex with hope for an awesome future. Her insight and passion will motivate moms and dads to take a stand and deliver the truth to their kids.
