Talli Moellering is the Executive Director for A Beacon of Hope and The College Womens Center. 

Her extensive experience and notable background has given her many valuable insights and engaging, practical methods for trainings parents, teachers and volunteers in reference to the hot topic of teen sex. Talli enables all audience members to relate to her message. 

Talli's history entails successfully establishing an overall plan of action for the effective teaching of abstinence based sex education in the public schools.  During this time she provided classroom instruction for 6th-12th grade students, shared important curriculum components with their parents, and trained health educators to deliver the message effectively with a medically accurate focus on saving sex for marriage.

Talli’s foremost passion is always evident: to educate and motivate parents to stand up and speak this necessary truth to their kids. Through parent training workshops, she encourages parents to be on the front lines fighting for their children to promote healthy sexual relationships within the context of marriage.  Although keenly aware that this is very much against our current societal norms, she is passionate in her belief that if parents take an active role in the process, it can be an achievable and extremely worthwhile goal.  

Over the years Talli has met many parents who desire to educate their kids about the facts surrounding   premarital sexual activity but who feel they lack the confidence and “how-to” tools to do so.   The REAL sexual freedom model, is a valuable training tool for moving parents past their fears and helping them to focus on their child’s future.  The diverse  audiences  Talli has presented these concepts to -- students, parents, and educators -- has provided her with a valuable understanding on how to address a difficult yet lifesaving message to varied groups.  Her reason for promoting the concept of REAL sexual freedom is based on her strong conviction that the benefit of healthy, lifelong relationships can be accomplished through regular training in the areas of self-respect, confidence, courage, and medical accuracy. 

Talli and her husband David are the parents of three daughters who regularly provide them with real life scenarios that often translate into practical,   and realistic teaching methods that parents can readily implement.  Because Talli and David are in the midst of the parenting process, they understand how difficult this challenge can be.
